Christmas music makes me all depressed



It makes me remember that Im not a kid anymore and I probably won't have anymore amazing Christmases like I did when I was young  and I get all depressed about it :'(

I've noticed that the whole build-up around this season is absolutely off-putting to me.
Maybe it's from working in retail for a few years now in some capacity?
Maybe I'm just becoming more and more embittered.

I guess I look at it from the whole charlie goddamned brown perspective and see the whole thing as a consumer mark-up and an excuse to gorge on over advertised widgets.

Not entirely. I mean, when it finally comes down to that point, that specific day, everything clicks into a really nice picture. Friends coming home and family I never get to connect with anymore and everything. You know.

But the whole black friday idea and the shit that flies around it really gets me down. Really gets me down.
