What no, you're paying for the pop.

I'm not okay with it because it's dishonest. But I don't harp about it because illegal downloads and trespassing are dishonest as well, I just see dishonesty the effects ownership of physical objects as more important. I understand that some people disagree.

Well technically you're paying for the cup since soda is so cheap to make, but yeah, I don't like to lie to somebody's face like that just to get a wee sugar rush

Yes, the primary expense is the cup butthats not what you're paying for. The product you are purchasing is what you are paying for.

well you order a Small or Medium or Large and the fountain drink isn't different between them, only the cup, so what product are u really paying for. is it just capacity or is it different if they give you a disposable cup or one you have to return or what. THEN what are you paying for. the ice?????
