Shower heads

This is how I feel about mine, except furthest up position. It is perfect.

Well, when I spray hot water on my shoulders, it rolls down my back and legs, warming my whole back. When I spray hot water on my lower back, it only rolls down my lower back and legs, leaving me pretty cold.

No, my showerhead is a regular shower head, but why would I waste water spraying it somewhere other than on my body?

Well all of the water goes on my body... I'm not sure what you mean by spraying the walls, I thought you mean maybe the spray after it hit my skin

okay, so imagine that  guy turning the other way and standing closer to the shower...the water would be spraying right on his shoulders/neck, where he is the most sore and the heat feels best. Also my shower head is lower than that in relationship to my height. And the water pressure is much lower.

Yeah, but I put it as far downwards as possible too... it's usually about 30-40 degrees from being perpendicular to the floor.

Hm, I guess... I have to crouch either way to be below the shower head so maybe that's why

DOESN'T THIS DEPEND MORE ON YOUR HEIGHT AND THE SHOWER YOU'RE IN THAN ANY PREFERENCE FOR HORIZONTAL OR DOWNWARD SHOWERING

I MEAN IF I WAS 6'5 I THINK I WOULD PROBABLY SHOWER 'HORIZONTALLY' BUT SINCE MOST SHOWERHEADS (INCLUDING THE ONE IN MY CURRENT HOME) ARE USUALLY ABOVE ME I GUESS I SHOWER 'DOWNWARD'
