noticed this sweet little heater in my bathroom when we moved in, but only tried using it in the last few days. DAMN THIS THING IS NIICE!! first class. gets hot real fast, fills the whole bathroom, nice for drying off or just sitting in front when it gets chilly. strange there seem to be fireplaces or these things in every california apartment yet I never saw such a thing in cheap apartments in mn.

Where I used to live we used to have one of those in every room


I got in trouble once because I pressed a chocolate bar on one and when it melted it made the smoke detectors go off

same principle as my oven. i must admit. it is rather genius though, especially for an area like a bathroom, where there is plenty of moisture.

Another point worth mentioning is that most of the apartments in Minneapolis were built between 1910 and 1940, with a few up through the 70s. There are very few newer apartments that are cheap, especially in the city itself. Perhaps this is a contributing factor? I have been thinking about this more, and I realized that I have seen UV/heat lamps in a lot of hotel room bathrooms, presumably for the same purpose.
