Are really, really expensive. When I broke my rib I went to the hospital for like 5 hours and last week I got this bill:

RADIOLOGY: $1,097.00
EMERGENCY ROOM: $525.00


Billed Charges: $1,622.00
AETNA STUDENT HEALTH: 1,622.00
Amount Due from Patient: $0.00

I am so fucking glad I have health insurance now. This is the first medical bill I have ever received and holy shitfuck. Has anyone else ever gotten such a ridiculous bill for something?
