n o t s i d what kind of thing do you mean I'm struggling to grasp a good example, like psyching yourself up for the awesome sandwich you're going to make and then someone already ate all the pastrami, or like a big project you design and later discover is the most overdone thing ever (also like making a sandwich I guess)?

I don't think those are good scenarios as they are not favorite thing compliant.

I was thinking of maybe like a huge project at work, in my case putting up the white goods truck that comes in on Thursdays. I typically come in at four p.m., and will walk into a room full of refridgerators, washing machines, 60 inch televisions, whatever.

I have to mentally prepare myself, as these things are not light, and it's the most intense part of my job.

But there are days where I will do all this mental preparation, and when I walk through the swinging doors, I will find an empty warehouse. The feeling that occurs in this scenario, this is one of my favorite things.
