who the fuck cares about skyrim?
enough people for them to warrant a remaster apparently

Kalahari Inkantation

Vanilla Skyrim at 4k eats up 3.8GB of my measly 4GB of VRAM, and 6/8GB of system RAM. smithicide;

Unfortunately, the process of adding the game to people's accounts is going a bit slower than we originally anticipated. If you already own Skyrim and all the DLC but you aren't seeing Special Edition in your Steam Library, don't panic! We should have it added to everyone's accounts within the next 24 hours, and then we will continue adding it to people who complete their collection in batches as we approach the Special Edition launch on Thursday.

Kalahari Inkantation

prominent jaggies for sure, but they're only really visible in full-resolution still screenshots

they're far less apparent during actual gameplay as the image is downsampled to a mere 1080p on my monitor, so it's basically the most demanding antialiasing method ever lol

now this is the skyrim i know and sometimes love

have you tried the FullHD™ edition yet

Bethesda actually reduced the audio quality of the rerelease.

And rather than using the high-res textures they themselves created for 2011 Skyrim, they took the old vanilla textures and just lazily """upscaled""" (stretched, really) them, basically doubling VRAM consumption for virtually no visual enhancement. awdood;
