the chance of a dragon appearing when you fast-travel to a non-walled town is WAY too high and it has resulted in at least two quest-giving npcs dying on me

minor quests with no real reward, but still

Yes, and I've had a few close calls with dragons attacking towns I'd only just discovered.

thankfully i don't think any important npcs have died so far, hopefully it stays that way

and about four times in a row because i kept reloading every time he died only for it to happen again the next time

my first character was heavily stealth-based so i couldn't ever play with one

i use stealth a lot too, but it's not just because they're not stealthy

i just don't need to carry a lot of shit around? why would you?

put all your non-carry shit in your house

also, they just plain get in the way

yes, but i like that with a follower i only have to make half as many trips back home after accumulating hundreds of pounds of useless junk from adventuring

plus i suck and they provide all sorts of compensation for that

i also enjoy the sense of security that having a tank following me around provides, the game would be far [glow=black,2,300]scarier[/glow] without followers [/spoiler]
