how would you feel
how would you feel
how would you feel
if someone interested in you lived with their parents
pretend you're 18 pretending to be 23 and met someone who was in their late 20s

snoorkel

If I met someone in their late 20s living with parents, I probably wouldn't be interested... that's not really a good sign, unless there's some unique reason for it.

If I'm 18 pretending to be 23, it shows that I'm insecure with youth and dependence.  This other person of interest lives with their parents, which is typical of youthful, dependent people.  Due to my insecurity, I couldn't date them.  Ew.

But if I'm just me, I wouldn't let their living situation be the definitive factor in my decision to date them.  If they aren't motivated, then I'd reconsider.

Geezus.

If they don't take you seriously because of your age, why would you want to be their friend?

I'd take an 18 year old more seriously than an 18 year old pretending to be a 23 year old.

At least you know losing my respect results in losing the entire forum's respect.  And because of that, you regain my respect.
