I have had this done to me before. it was wonderful.

you can buy ear candles at your local hippie store.

but be careful when you do this, have someone with you, and make sure that the candle is slightly tilted lest the ear wax fall down the candle and singe itself to your eardrum

and add drops of olive oil or whatever to your ears before hand, it helps with something i can't remember what.
