Dogs are pretty easy to figure out. They're incredibly intuitive and are easily taught. How smart they are depends entirely upon how observant and clever you are. Their ability to learn is greatest when done right. I really feel startled and lost when for the first time in the current frame of mind, where I happen to be, an owner addresses his pooch. And proceeds to turn and shout out his commands. In a normal human voice. As if it's a normal thing to do. To speak to a dog like you would to yourself. I suppose I become so unsettled because all of the assumptions and guarantees that I had of that person, and never thought to question, come shattering down. They are suddenly a stranger. So far and distant from me. If they can so simply misunderstand the simplest of facts, what logic is that? The mere fact that the poor animal somehow processes this verbalizing as something recognizable, and responds in a manner of having to response and having somehow interpreted to mean something is a marvel and a sheer testament to that noble creature. And not the fool who couldn't see the truth if it killed him. Image how much broader and mutual a lifeform to lifeform relationship that would be. Instead of something stuck and muted, so limited and absurd. It just makes everything more difficult. Not to mention tragic. How sad is that? The scene in the stranger, when I feel I am the dook so poorly paid attention to. But always called at attention to, to attend a matter or perform an event, and yet hard ever informed or even questioned for!

Treat everything like the masterpiece that it is. Don't miss a single breath, and always think really far but really fast. You will come to know and come to grow and eventually life amid all sorts of priorities and treasures. Then the whole world is your friend, having treated it with respect and compassion.

Listen folks, you cannot shepherd if you do follow.

I love dogs. I have had a lot of good encounters with chow mixes. I have a chow mix named shady. She's mixed with a black lab and barks too much but is a sweetie
kill them w kindness

I have always sort of wanted a Finnish Spitz:

But I'll probably just stick to cats, they're much easier to take care of and less demanding

I dunno I'm not big on the bulldog race of dogs, their fur usually isn't very nice
