Nice breakthrough 

In what might be a significant breakthrough in HIV/AIDS research, online gamers playing a game called Foldit have cracked a key protein structure problem that has had scientists scratching their heads for years. And the gamers did it in three weeks.

So what do you think?  Will this bring some validity towards gamers?  Will this help gamers get jobs?  Will this set a new standard in how to solve large scale tasks in the medical, and perhaps engineering areas?

I think that saying that "gamers" cracked this is a bit generalized, because I'm pretty sure most "gamers" couldn't predict protein structures and build 3D models of protein models.
