I had ferrets for a couple years (hence original NSider username), one of them was albino and very intelligent (for a ferret) and named Ezekiel, he was my favorite. the other was blind and fairly malicious, I think my brother named it Chester (L)OL)

Fish are dumb pets.  They require so much maintenance and you don't get anything out of it.  Maybe they're good for aesthetic value, but I don't think pets should be used as decoration.

You had a... gecko?  

Geckos are seen as pests in Hawaii.  I remember they used to run along the walls of my house and shiz.  Pulling off their tails were fun though.
