not really close. in actuality he was my step dad but he raised me since i was 2 so that's more of a father than my 'real father'.

but the death itself is sad.  he and my brother had just moved to florida a few months ago so he could be near my brother when h was in school. he died 2 days after my brother moved into his dorm and started classes.
