Radiohead is just playing 70s german music really badly, but they have some nice catchy songs. Also I think you have to start listening to them around 13-17 year old to dig them.

I had to force myself through the two Radiohead albums Hiro is talking about

it is just one of those bands I can't like if I try
it's not even that I love radiohead or anything, I just don't see how they could be hard to listen to  huhdoodame;

I had to force myself through Pablo Honey, didn't care much for The Bends until just recently.

pretty much any sonic youth album after goo, except the S.Y.R. series are kinda bland.

I haven't listened to any of the S.Y.R. series.

in fact the only albums i have of theirs are Daydream Nation and Dirty.

All their 80s albums is like 1 big evolution of sound and reaches a peak at daydream nation. They are all really good too. The SYR series is "technical" + "experimental" and is pretty nice imo.  While their 90s major label albums are just like....90s alt rock. There are some decent songs, but overall nothing as good as their 80s stuff.

Samus Aran

i think Dirty is actually pretty damn great

i mean earlier stuff is better, but still

It is one of those albums i have to be in mood in to enjoy.
