Oh, it's just a cheapie mixer, although, it works like a damn charm. It's exactly what I was looking for. Nice, low footprint and no noise and everything.

It takes two mics, so I can plug in both of my condensers and record directly to one channel on my r24 or easily do stereo samples if I need a drum hit or a shake on my mpc for something. Generally you don't use stereo samples for drum hits because it eats more ram on the mpc (and you could just put the same sample on two different pads and balance one right and one left respectively) but you could. hgfdhgf

Basically, it just saves me having to rearrange everything when I want to do one little function.

I tell people I'm working on something (then we all laugh) and I am, but I simply haven't had time to do anything the past few weeks.
And when I do, I usually just end up making some loops or something.
I have hundreds of drum sequences and melody lines and little bits and pieces on my mpc, waiting to be put together, but I have a hard time following through I guess. I get discouraged and toss something into the pile of unfinished.

I mixed and mastered a handful of tracks from over the summer, but that's about it.

I guess you'd call it more downtempo stuff. I love long, evolving synth pads (absynth 5 is my favorite thing) especially.

What I'm really excited about is getting my giant flute back from my friend.

LCK

I recently discovered the world of online thrifting, so I've got quite a list.

-Beastie Boys t-shirt for $3
-Brand new pair of plaid converse for $4
-A porcelain teapot shaped like an apple, gift for the girlfriend for $0.50
-A working MGA Record player for $4
-JBL Creature II Speakers to replace my crappy Logitech LS-21. $30
-A badass tobacco pipe as a gift for my best friend's birthday for only $5
-A multicolored strobe light as a gift for my other friend who has mock raves from time to time for only $5
-3 working Nintendo DS for $30ish each, with the intent to resell

There are so many cheap laptops and pcs and wonderful electronics, i'm going to go broke :'(

And I also just ordered all the parts for my new HTPC

After a lot of thought, I feel I chose the perfect case. The pc is as follows:
- The Case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811204039
-i3 560
-8 GB of DDR3 Patriot RAM
-MSI H55M-E33 motherboard
-Apevia Java 500 watt power supple (booo)
-ATI Radeon HD 5670
