yes, though from my understanding ffxiv is still free, beyond the obvious upfront cost


i could obviously be wrong, but judging from the game's site, even square enix hasn't bothered to update it since november...

maybe it's free because it can hardly even be considered a finished game because it's a broken sloppy mess of a mmorpg that square enix is hurriedly attempting to distance itself from because it's already announced TWO other mmos now

There's also going to be an "enhanced" Wii U version that will come out later, and be compatible with the Wii version. Oh and a 3DS street pass feature?
