Saying I don't like sports games would be unfair to a lot of examples I can think of, so I could say I have a big bias against team-oriented simulation sports games which are not hockey.

Bad: simulations of baseball, soccer, football, basketball, etc

Good: Arcadey variations of any of the above, individual-oriented sports (tennis, golf, racing, boxing, etc). And hockey. giggle;

And as mentioned before, I don't like RTSes much. Other than those two genres, p. much anything goes.

Can you attempt to explain why you think mmos are depressing, as I would be interested in hearing it?

I can fully understand not liking them though. They are fairly big time sinks and are only as fun as the amount of time you are willing to put into it to level up, get your gear, and do the always more fun end game stuff. There is something about the grind and item drops that really pull me in though.

i honestly have no idea lol

i would have attempted to explain if i had even the slightest idea but i really don't know why i find them depressing lol befuddlement

Probably the amount of time you have to invest in them and you need to socialize with people you never met. but that is why it is fun idk

if anything, mmos scare me because of the fact that you might have to 'socialise' with people
yes, i'm so retarded that the thought of using an internet persona to socialise with other internet personas is scary
I can't play fighters aside from SSB
I can't play RTS games aside from StarCraft
I can't finish RPGs besides Pokemon

Maybe you get discouraged by the time it would take to get to the higher levels of the game?

That's kind of why I find them depressing. befuddlement

I find Pokemon totally pointless.  What is the point anyways?

You could literally say that about any videogame.

?????

The only fighting games I like are the smash bros. games. Everything else feels like a button mashing fest to me. Also, I think it's gunner when you play without items.

I also hate racers, not including the Mario Kart and Burnout serieseseseseses (what's the plural for that anyway)

I try to stay away from time sinks and massive amounts of grinding.

There's several other games to fill that need. Like Monster Rancher.
