I have a weekly progress check in for the internship I'm part of that we do over the phone.  Everything else is done remotely through email, but the phone chat is always just a "oh hey this is what's going to happen this week". Those calls are awkward every single time. I get a little flustered and start to babble about certain things and then feel like I fucked up somewhere during the week and didn't get enough done and then I start misinterpreting his questions as negative pokes towards the work I've done.

And then there's the silences in the middle. And the end of the conversation where both of us sort of go "whelp, yeah. I.....think....that's....it and we get caught in tangled awkward see you laters.

I can articulate and be perfectly fine in face to face conversation and through email, but those phone calls destroy me.

I would love to be able to use Boyah emotes.
