i can't see my parents ever getting "sick of the bullshit" because they really do seem to actually believe it and i don't think they've ever hinted otherwise

someone kill me

why are all of your family members so lenient when it comes to religion :'(

i jelly smithicide;

my mom isn't even christian but she believes in god and doesn't seem to care what i personally believe, or at least never expressed any particular desire for what she'd have me believe

my dad once tried to convert me i guess but that was just once and he wasn't real pushy about it

so i'd say my parents are p. lenient too

Boyager

save me boyah it's going to happen again in about seven hours awdood;

how did your parents find out and what were their reactions, and overall would you say it went well or poorly >_<'

Boyager

"I should probably say that this is one of the last weeks I'll be able to do this."

"What, go to church?  Then it's also one of the last weeks you'll be living here."

She didn't even give me a chance to explain myself; all I was going to say was that it would interfere with school. awdood;

Boyager

How does it interfere with school, it's an hour on a sunday morning goonish

Because I'll be dorming at school. goowan

though i would like to go home for the weekends, but if i'm forced into church then i'll only visit occasionally
The real issue isn't that it'd interfere with school, but I don't think my parents could handle the real issue, which is that I am not religious. goowan

that's why i'd rather use the admittedly weak "school" excuse :'(
Yeah but my point is no one would ever buy that argument n_u

it's the only one i have aside from the real reason and i can't tell them that smithicide;

what else could i do :'(

i mean the best thing to do would be to tell them but they would essentially disown me smithicide;

I'd be no more than a stranger living in their house. saddood;

well, i don't hate my family and would actually enjoy seeing them a couple days a week

the only issue is i hate pretending to be religious which going home on sundays would force me to do goowan

Yes, I objected to my mother's fundamentalist preaching at a young age. She knows not to bring up 'christ's armor' and the war between jesus/satan with me.
