we refer to all of our body parts as 'ours' ('my arm', 'my eye', 'my brain'), but it doesn't really make sense to say 'my brain' considering you are your brain and the body is a biological life support system for it

so the phrase 'my brain' is kind of redundant and weirds me out

in spanish you have to refer to your own body parts as "the"...i think
