do you turn your computer off when you're done with it?

i know it's not good for my computer, but i almost never turn it off. at night, i just close the lid. i leave the sucker open all day. and i never really put it on actual hibernation, just stand by.

probably a bad habit but i'm lazy

No, I almost never turn it off myself.  I just close the lid, and depending on whether it's plugged in or not, that causes it either go to sleep or simply shut the screen off. :'(

I do when I go to bed. To save on the electricity bill, for one, but also because my room is a small cube with no windows and I usually keep the door closed. So it can get pretty hot in there and the one night I did leave the computer on, my throat was dry as fuck.

Oh yeah, I never leave my desktop on unless it absolutely needs to be because it's terribly loud, but I don't really consider it mine anymore and it rarely gets used ever since I got a [glow=black,2,300]cr[/glow]aptop.

Desktop will usually stay on whenever I use it but it goes into some power saving mode by itself after a little while.

I sleep my laptop when I'm not using it. It maybe gets a restart every 1-2 weeks.

My desktop's primary function is as a server, so it's always running. I reboot it every 2-3 weeks, just to clear out old processes that sometimes hang around, but it's never off.
