Does this bullshit piss you off?

I send a text or a message on facebook or some shit and it will sit there for weeks on end without a reply. So at this point it's either: resend it or leave it alone and dont fucking bother.

Which route do you usually take? I have been leaving it alone, if they dont bother to answer when I know for a fact they have seen it: fuck them.

Just the other day, dude said he was hitting up the Zoo, asked if anyone wanted to go. I asked him,"has anyone else responded yet?" he said,"nope" so I said,"alright I'm in all the way."

He didnt say a fucking WORD after that, not an "ok" or an "alright" not ONE word!Now the ENTIRE day has passed and I swear to god if I hear he went with someone else I am going to delete all contact with him.

Why do people do this?! DO YOU DO THIS?!

A lot of people do this:

no reply at all

or

they reply
I continue
maybe the conversation goes on smoothly

Then they just fucking stop. WHO DOES THIS?!

I wouldnt do this to anyone, no matter how dumb the message is I reply and if its an older message I still reply and then tell them why I didnt answer quick enough

If a casual conversation goes on for a long time and it reaches a point where all you have to say is "K", then that's acceptable to just not say anything.


This rarely happens to me. The one time it REALLY bothered me and upset me was when I randomly got a long, many paragraph message on Facebook from someone who had been one of my best friends but I had only seen/talked to maybe 2 times in the last three years, asking me how I was and that sort of thing. I sent a similar, long, thought-out and heartfelt reply, but she never responded. It's been like 9 months, lol.

Eh, if I send a message to someone and they never respond I always just forget about it pretty soon after.

And if it is actually an important message, like regarding a planned trip, it is virtually always between close friends, who I would see irl soon enough anyway.

I prefer to keep important messages out of cyberspace and in the real world. I really hate all this online/cellphone communication bullshit.
