I never really realized how much I disliked my home life until college was over.No wonder I spent so much time on the internet throughout high school, fuck. I have such a great social life in college and it just blows here. I have like 3 close friends here and that's just about it. Who would have known that having a large friend group consisting of people very similar to yourself who you like very much would be so awesome? Can't wait for September lol

Does anybody else have a strange contrast between their college and high school lives? Or lack of a contrast even? Do explain, it's midnight and I'm depressed and bored and in need of some company

I've always been free to do whatever I pleased and that didn't change when I was in college. I've always had good groups of friends and everything pretty much works out well for me.

my college life would seem incredibly boring to most people, seeing as how i don't really have any friends and mostly just go to class and then go back to my room

but i still sort of miss it and enjoy having more to actually do with myself in a day.

In my home life I hate my family and my area, but my friends are awesome. In my college life I love my city but my friends leave something to be desired. Both are good and bad in their own ways...

Hmm, well I have a lot more female friends in college.

I like a nice balance between college life and home life. My groups of friends are both pretty different, so it keeps things interesting
