I love my parents.

But My mother could spend a lot more time with me and my siblings, she never leaves her fucking room, except when one of her girlfriends call, then she's out in a minute.

My father talks to me a lot, but really doesn't understand me as a person the way my mother does.

I thought of something I need to add.

My parents have pretty much JUSt enought money to get by with trying to live this lifestyle in a wealthy town of CT. Our house was neatrly free (inherited), so we pretty much live in a place we don't belong in economically. My mom lost her job and my dad just lost one of his two this past week, so now a family f 6 is living in a rich town on one full-time Fed-Ex job. It's an interesting situation.

And they do take my money and promise to pay me back. They never do. Sometimes I get pissed off, but I know they're using it for things that benefit the entire family, so I don't usually get mad. Plus if they ever have any extra change, they offer to help me if I',m looking to buy something.

Well, my mom kicked me out of the house last year. My dad left when I was like 8, and I haven't seen him in years. I'm pretty sure my mom is doing some drugs also but yeah. Its nice that I don't live with her anymore though.

But yeah I'm guessing thats bad parenting. But I'm kinda ok with it since I'm doing a lot better in school and such since I got kicked out.

I love my parents regardless of what they have done and I don't think it would be fair of me (as their child and a 16 year old girl) to say that they're good OR bad.
My mother has done some things I really don't approve of and I don't believe she ever grew up but I love her just the same and I wouldn't trade her for any other kind of parent.
I love my dad to pieces, as girls should. He is the most honorable man I have ever met and I have learnt so much from him. He is a great father and a great man.

If you feel that much towards her (in a negative way) I don't think you should feel guilty. I'm sorry.

I used to feel like that way towards my mom, I really could not even be around her because of the way she is and the way she treats people (she's terribly manipulative, but I can't say that I'm not) but I just had to look at her life, everything that she has gone through (which is so much more than I have, in some ways) and learn to accept her for she is and at least try to understand WHY she is the way that she is.

I'm really undecided with mine. Parents have been divorced like 10 years.
My mom is normally mean to me so I avoid her at all costs.
I rarely see my dad, but when I do he is nice.
Step dad is normally nice, but tends to side with my mom no matter what.

I will update this statement:
I love my mom and step dad. I am finally getting along with them very well for more than just a few weeks. We've been great since October or so. They are finally showing they love and support me.

As for my dad, I love him too though I'm mad I don't see him too much.

Well today my mom told me I could stay home from school tomorrow, because we're on this weird schedule testing where we're in the same class all day, and my teacher was like 'We're just watching a movie, we're not doing anything.' So I was like sweet, I'll get to sleep in a little late, do some other work, have a good day, and well rested and ready for work in the evening.

Then my dad is like 'AW HELL NAW, YOU GOTTA GO TO SCHOOL, JSUT CUZ I DONT WANT TO GO TO WORK SOEMTIMES DOESNT MEAN I GET TO STAY HOME.' and I told him it was a waste of my time, no one was going to be there (1. because we aren't doing shit and 2. because its prom friday so everyone is leaving to get pretty), and that I would just fucking sleep the entire time anyway so I might as well do it in my bed. Then he was like 'ITS THE LAW TO GO TO SCHOOL, N DIDN U HAV A C I NDAT CLASS LASS QUAWTA' and then I was like 'Yeah, but I have a 98 currently. Also it was the law to kill jews in Nazi Germany but I dont run around doing that.' Then he tells me about here and now and how we live in America and how blah blah blah I walked away after this point because I was going punch him in the face.

So now I can't wait to go to school to sleep on a hard table all day and get absofuckinglutley nothnig done, while I could have stayed home and at least been somewhat productive anyway. Other than that my parents aren't bad, they just have their moments such as this. And coem to think of it, I'm not even going to my class tomorrow, I'm just skipping it and attending my friend's class.

My Dad was good to us. I know he felt bad because we didn't have a lot of extras. But I was happy. My Mum is like a friend. Not much she doesn't know about.
