Just get a new screen. You can get them for $10 on ebay.

If you want apps and internet and all that then get a Touch.

If you want a seemingly endless amount of capacity, then get another classic.

Looks ugly as sin.
and 70 bucks for pretty much no features and only 8gb of space.

swapping out microsd cards for more capacity also sucks because you have to carry around multiple ones

I once had a Sansa.

It took me about an hour to figure out how it turned on.

to each his own, but it's a solid mp3 player that can do everything that iPods can do (in b4 jmv being an apple fanboy lol) while having expandable memory. Yeah it can't go up as high as iPods, but if you were to buy a 16gig microsd card for around $20, and you can buy a clip+ 8gig for $50 (jmv is stupid), so that's around $80 for a 22gig mp3 player, which is a great fucking deal, especially compared to ipods of similar memory.

But yeah if you want all 80gigs or more than you can get with expandable memory, fuck it and get a mainstream mp3, but i'm just saying, there's a lot of potential with 3rd party mp3 players once people look past apple's monopoly.

My 160gb Ipod classic holds my entire library which is easily accessible through a simple and effective interface. It's perfectly utilitarian and I've never had a single problem with it.

I don't think this is Sandisk's fault.
