IPv4 exhaustion

Today, the last of the possible IPv4 addresses were assigned to the regional Internet registries. But this is just the first stage of exhaustion; the registries haven't allocated all of these IPs elsewhere yet, but are expected to run out soon (between 6 months and 2-3 years).

And then we'll have IPv6 and people going crazy due to transition giggle;

recently my isp just bought a lot of ip numbers from rogers, causing every website i go to to either block me because "you are not located in the US" or show me gay canadian singles advertisements
I do not have HIV/AIDS.

it amazes me that IPv6 is STILL not very present at all, even in top-tier IP transit... of five datacenters I own servers in right now, USA and Europe, only 2 of them have IPv6 integrated and ready to provision, and only on a 'test basis'
