How do you people game alone

I try so hard to get into a game by myself, and I just can't do it. I get overwhelmed or bored way too fast and give up. This never happens with social gaming.

This is what angers me. You guys talk about how amazing some game is, I try it out, and I just can't bring myself to play it.
I've realized that gaming is almost starting to turn into a chore, which makes me sad.

yeah the games that i enjoy the most are games that i can pick up and play easily. not necessarily easy games, but games like trails hd, or super meat boy. damn this makes me sound like i do have adhd ;-;

well i do that too with plenty of games, but i would still never call them anything but single-player, and i'm pretty sure strongbad largely meant multiplayer vs. single-player here

Brah I bought Super Meat Boy on day one, that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about full fledged single player games. Like without a single online component. Something with depth. As great of a game as SMB is, it doesn't have depth.

I've begun to feel similarly largely because I have a lack of time so quick multiplayer games fill the void well. Still there are games so good I can't stop playing until they're beaten like uncharted, mass effect, civilization and dragon age
