I went to a Catholic school, too.

I knew a lot of gay couples growing up. My parents used to run the property management company out of our basement, and the only leasing agent at the time was in a long term homosexual relationship and I knew his partner pretty well. I also knew a few friends who "had two dads", but I didn't really think anything of it. The first time I was aware of the full implications of homosexual was when I was at a housewarming party for the aforementioned gay couple. I was in 1st or 2nd grade, I think.

On that note, Minneapolis has the 4th highest percentage of homosexuals of any municipality in the US.

In elementary school there was jackass and the dreaded "fuck". I think we called each other imbeciles too.
