As you may know, my car is a criminal who is old and unsafe. I am in the market for a new car, however I currently don't have the cash upfront, though I make enough to buy a nice car with a month or two of pay.

My brother bought a car a while back (June) because he expected to get his license in July. That apparently didn't work so his car has been sitting around since then and he's been looking to tell it.

My sister doesn't have her license or a car. She's planning on getting her license soon so I don't have to drive her to work a lot.

TODAY:  My sister and brother agreed that my sister would pay my brother a few hundred dollars per month over a year or so for his car.  Because she doesn't have a license she told me that she's going to let me be the registered owner of the car until she gets her license, at which time I'll transfer the title over to her.   I also agreed to forget about the money she currently owes me (80-120 USD I lost count). I'd be paying the registration, title, and other silly fees as well as the insurance while it's in my possession.

I think this works out greatly for all 3 of us. baddood;

My brother gets his money instead of sitting around waiting for someone to buy his car which is being unused.
My sister will be a few months into payments for a car when she gets her license. Also doesn't have to pay me the damn money she owes me.  akudood;
I get a "free" car until my sister gets her license (less registration, title, inspection, and a few maintenance things. obviously also insurance). This gives me time to save up really quickly for a new car so I can pay in cash.

Fuck yeah baddood;

after i'm gone your earth will be free to live out its miserable span of existence, as one of my satelites, and that's how it's going to be.
