How do you talk to a complete stranger?

Okay of course this is lady related thats the only reason I ever post. Long story short: really hot girl in my English class, I think she keeps looking over at me from time to time, I would like to introduce myself and get to know her better. HOWEVER, I don't know her at all obviously. As far as I know we have no friends in common, or anything else in common really. So how do I go about starting a conversation without coming off as some fucking weirdo. Like I feel like if I just walked up to her and was like "Hi, I'm Danny" she would looked puzzled and conversation would go FUCKING NO WHERE. i'm just tired of being forever alone guys
