I was looking at the forum stats because i am a loser and august has been our most active month since last november (although we're missing a few months in there so i can't be sure) but regardless i'm happy that boyah isn't dying just yet  bassir;

The nominations were in June. All we got from the Boyah Awards in August is the polls. And complaints about the polls not getting posted, of course. n_u

The real boost came from the "hey guys let's get to 900k posts" day. The day after was also pretty active, as an aftermath.

a couple users have dramatically affected our activity: burzumfan, hensa, and sbkt. burzumfan has suddenly started posting a lot and i have no idea why, hensa came back and has been helping the chat thread move consistently, and sbkt came back is being a post-whore (kinda) yet again.

oh, and hiro. forgot about him for a sec. he's helping a lot too.

those four members considered, that's gotta be an average of 120 extra posts a day or something like that. in addition, those posts spark replies.

our activity rises dramatically if users simply post things instead of lurking, even if it's not posting a whole lot, as long as its easily replied to. it doesn't take much.
