POTD: English pronunciation of 2010

How should it be pronounced?

Twenty-ten, it only makes sense.  In the 90s we didn't say 'one thousand, nine hundred and ninety'.

People only call it two thousand ten because they are used to using that format for the past 9 years (10 including 2000).

Now that we can say twenty- _______ again, we should.

We just couldn't the past 10 years cause you can't say twenty-nine, twenty-five, etc.
