I've heard rumors about the PS3 being dropped to $200. It's supposedly going to be announced at E3 and is on Sony's website. What do you think they will strip from it?

From what I've read, it's going to be a PS3 version of the Xbox arcade.

And I don't see anything about Sony slipping up on a price drop anywhere.

I would so get it. I sold the one I had to get a Wii. I regret selling it (not getting a Wii though).
I'd get this in a heart beat.

If Sony was going to release a PS3 without a hard drive, they would have done it years ago.  Most likely it's what the 40 GB would have been if they were in that mind. 



And unless you've forgotten, the PS3 doesn't have memory card slots, and that's a feature they've been without since 2008, I don't see them readding them.

would be pretty kickass, but if it's a worse version i wouldn't get it, i'd just get the current $300 one which is a great price anyway

At the other end of the spectrum...

What the christ. I have a 300GB hard drive in my phat and I still haven't used a third of that.
