As a gimmick to raise activity, maybe. And UNO did a huge amount for Outsider's publicity, too. But unless we're doing something we actually care about...so, doing something LIKE THIS, where the entire forum works on something, sounds good, but only if we care about it and it's not just "oh well ok"
