I just remembered

Freshman year, I was on the tennis team, and we were practicing in the summer before school started, so I was still pretty new to high school and everything. I went down to the locker room to pee, and I had no idea where it was, and some crazy senior looking kid was sitting on the floor, I asked him where it was, so he pointed me in the right direction. When I was walking back, he started talking to me about how fucked up our school was and how everybody was on drugs and shit and how i shouldn't get into that stuff and i was like um okay and then i walked away.
It scared the shit out of me, and I was effectively scared shittless for high school to start

We had a high school orientation in 8th grade where we got to visit the high school, eat lunch there, and socialize with the high schoolers during the lunch hour. One of the high schoolers had a baggy, which he had got from the lunch room that day, full of moss. He approached my fatass at the time, and tried to sell it to me, telling me it was the best weed I'd ever have. I was horrified, I knew this guys brother, and they've got reputations for all being assholes. Plus he was like 6'2" compared to my 5'5" at the time. I was horrified to begin with and for the first few months of high school I was afraid of making any contact with him whatsoever.

ahh before going into high school we were told how terrible the school was. we had a orientation at night time so i dont see how that helped us out. other than getting familiar with the halls. it didnt help the half the school was under construction so some hall ways were blocked off and what not. i ended up feeling sick my first day cause i didn't know what to exspect but it was okay other than getting lost going to science class. the first day was just nerve racking. but i already knew there were gunna be some weird people so i wasnt concerned with that. by the end of grade nine i knew almost everyones name in the school. score.
