Today was step up day. The seniors' last day where they get their awards and scholarships, and all of the underclassman "step up", get it?

Anyhow, as a member of the class of 2011, we're now reigning over the school. What do I have to look forward to? Besides a crippling case of senioritis?  bassir;

You get to look forward to another year of high school  girl;

You only have to work hard for one more semester and send out all sort of college applications if that's your schtick

You don't have anything to look forward to except leaving high school afterward. Sorry if you thought that it was going to be really different or something.

...or if you enjoy life, you have to look forward to one last great hurrah with old friends that you may never see again while simultaneously ushering in a new era of you life

I don't consider goodbyes something to look forward to, even if there's a "hurrah" at the time.

The point being you have a blast with your friends to make up for the years you will miss instead of moping about not seeing them for a while. You could go on a road trip or something that you never did before and create the memories you feel you may have lacked for the majority of high school.

Pretty much the annoyance of applying to college, the easiest classes you've ever taken, and the best 9 months you've ever had as a grade school student.
