I don't understand the phrase "fun size". What's fun about having less candy?

You can pack more into your mouth, making it fun.  n_u

Mando Pandango

Reese's calls their fun-sized cups "snack sized" which is still not accurate but it's on the right track. If I want a snack I grab 4. King Size is really snack size. But at least they know it's not fun.

I'd rather have one big whale of a girl than a bunch of little ones.

The fun is watching other people have the lesser amount of candy then you. It's not fun unless the other person has it. The person with the fun sized candy is the punchline of the joke.
