Yesterday was also the earliest we've ever gotten a significant amount of snow. We beat the old record by about thirteen days.

It does sound glorious, doesn't it? We get that kind of weather in early spring and early fall in Boston, and then everything goes down the tubes. But...the memory of it is enough to keep me here for six months.

Being away only makes me realize how much I miss the place. I would like to travel, though.

I'm sure that Boston would be pretty easy to miss... but I'm not sure how I would handle a winter like yours. Actually if i obtained proper winter gear I'm sure I'd be okay. Just have no need for much living in Phoenix.
definitely plan on going North when i am able.. Washington or Oregon!

It's not that bad if you get your gear. The winter can be such a magical time...it's only as dreary as you make it!

You really don't even need 'gear', I'm fine with a hoodie most days. Though, I guess gloves would be nice, but they're not necessary.
