Thanksgiving is this weekend and my mom said I don't have to go the family dinner. I'm so fuckin happy. I HATE thanksgiving because it's so boring and I hate listening to my family talk about pointless shit for hours on end. Also this weekend is my towns fair. It's gunna be pretty intense. So I'm gunna go to the fair instead of my family dinner. I don't know when thanksgiving is for the US but yeh. I hate family dinners. But I love the fair. The demolition derby is gunna be thrilling (probably not) but yeah.

YPrrrr

Ours is in November and I would never miss the amazing layout of food, no matter how dull the conversation

Wait, I thought Thanksgiving was in November. Or is Canadian Thanksgiving in October?

I love going to family events.

my family is pretty cool, except for when they drink and get onto politics, then it's hiliarious.

Really? I like going to my family to eat Thanksgiving food. Turkey stuffing is delicious.

I'm planning on going to both fairs this weekend. Can't wait. giggle;

??????

Our Thanksgivings are terribly depressing.

We usually have a very dry turkey and two people eating it at the table.

Usually it is me and my mom, or me and my dad.

We only have a turkey--nothing else, and then we go right to bed and pretend nothing happened.

I like mashed potatoes and stuffing. That's about it. So I'll just get my mom to bring me some home.

The fact that the British allowed them to call themselves 'Canada' as opposed to 'British North America'. baddood;

Oh

 Basically the whites were going to get raped by winter, indians helped them out, then the whites payed them back kindly by killing them and taking over their land. We celebrate this great deed every year.  giggle;
