I'm pretty sure everyone has seen the trailers on TV since they're played almost constantly. Just looks like a mediocre comedy to me

From the review I read on Cracked (which was semi-serious), that's pretty accurate.

I watched the shorter trailer on TV which is good but this trailer makes it look that way.

I thought it was going to be like What Women want

I haven't seen it, but I've read some reviews that said the concept is kind of wasted on a throwaway script and less-than-awesome performance by Gervais, which is disappointing because he's awesome

it does sound like a good idea for a snarky anti-religion thing, but I get the feeling it's just a bad generic comedy more than anything
