This is my newest attempt at changing the world. I want to buy a very good synthesizer program to make my own music.

Fruity Loops can do a hell of a lot, just need a miner's helmet to explore it all.

I've got a microkorg, which I love to death, but we're starting to notice some of its limitations.

microkorgs fucking suck they're cheap and sound digital, if you're going to buy a "digital synthesizer" (ie you're not physically modifying anything just fucking with samples on an overpriced interface) you might as well get a cheap midi controller and pirate some sound packs from good synths.

but still vintage analog ones (or one of the few newer analog ones) are the way to go

Exactly. It was cheap and is very very very portable. What's the point in lugging a bigger fucking setup around when we're just using it for some warmer pads for a few songs in the background and the occasional short lead.

oh that. I've never used one, I thought you were being weird and meant "old monophonic synth" by "mopho"
