Popular culture doesn't neccessarily mean mainstream, it's much broader than that. Every form of modern music, like rock, jazz, blues, country, and rap, are all part of popular culture. Indie-Band-I've-Never-Heard-Of is popular culture just as much as Shitty-Band-That-Is-Always-On-The-Radio. But what you probably meant by "popular culture" is the Ed Hardy shirts and Top 40 radio etc., which I don't like either.

I'm fucking sick of elitist and aggressive mentalities. Can we have some fuckin' peace and love for once?
