I almost never download music, but if I ever do I've been using the zune marketplace just because I usually have some spare marketplace points.

Napster.

For those of you who don't know it's a subscription service now and what with my recent download activity I've been saving oodles of money. Also it's way easy to get caught pirating at college apparently so it's pretty much my best option.

People know what Napster is.  doodhuh;

Use the Zune software instead, it's the same thing (I think the same price too), but you also get to keep 10 songs a month.

Why would I when with Napster I get to keep every song every month.

Also I've told people I use Napster and they go WHY and then I tell them it's a subscription service and it's news to them.

Uh, what? So if you stopped paying, you could still keep every single song on the service?

Everyone knows about Napster, but the subscription service is more recent, so I can see that.

Every song I downloaded I can keep yeah. They're just WMAs. I've been able to play them without logging in so I assume this would be the case.

I'm pretty sure they self-destruct when you quit the service.
