and it's confusing as fuck. The computer lab in the Fine Arts building is full of these things, and while they're loaded down with awesome software, I can't really figure out how anything works.

Uh, but everything's just as straightforward, if not moreso, than on a PC. I don't see how anyone would have any trouble.

if you're used to a PC then it can be somewhat annoying

eh, despite me preferring macs, i still think your typical macbook is a bit overpriced, it could do with being $150 cheaper or so

the iMacs seem a bit more reasonable though but i'm not sure of those specs

oh at my middle school we had all of those cutesy multi-colored imacs and macbooks and while they were pretty slick the lack of a ctrl button always threw me off. and how you cant just double click on something to open it.

what were they running? i don't recall any version of OS X that didn't open a file/app upon double clicking

i have no idea. i think the teacher said that the computers were from the 90s or something. the bastards got new ones the year i graduated.

I thought even System 7 worked with double clicking.

Maybe they disabled it.
