bad spelling aside, what lacey said pretty much covers most of the rant that is piling up in my mind.

except that lacey was dumb enough to think that our resident sock puppet man was actually trying to be serious with his insults

Marriages can fail for all sorts of reasons, no marriage is completely safe going into it, if parrot wants to take the risk I say let him.

uh, how can you legally get engaged if she's not even 18? her parents agreed with this?

wow. if they raise someone to be as stupid as that, she deserves to be fucked over in the end. no pun intended.

They are engaged. They aren't getting married to have kids right away. What's wrong with that?    baddood;

Personally (and really this is all personal, which is why I know I shouldn't criticize JJ for this), I don't think you should get engaged before you're ready to get married. Getting engaged should say "okay, I'm ready to marry this girl, we just have to plan the wedding." NOT "someday I want to marry this girl." I think too many people get engaged when they're freshly in love and haven't known each other for long enough. IMO, 7 months isn't even close to long enough. Since 2007, I've seen four couples get engaged. One had been together for 6 years. They've now been married for 6 months, who knows if it'll work out.
One was together for 8 months. Engagement lasted about 3 before they broke up Another one was almost identical to that except they were 'engaged' for closer to a year. One was together for somewhere around a year (not sure exactly how long), decided to get engaged, eloped, and divorced a month later.

THE FACT IS, true love/ soul mate / love at first sight, WHATEVER, the longer you've been around a person, the better you know them. The better you know the goods, the bads, everything.
1.8mb is too huge for a sig nigga

 I know people who lived together for 5 years and got married. With in two years they were divorced. You never can tell.  saddood;

Some of the people on here can't fathom finding an interesting someone from the opposite sex (or not) who will even look their way, let alone someone who is ready to be exclusive, present & future. As such, take the 'advice' with a smirk and an I don't give a fuck attitude. Best to you and yours.

Pretty much done that when I've read some of these posts. Scoffed, rolled my eyes and laughed. Really don't give a damn about what a lot of these people have to say.

Thank you, Socks.
