exactly. It literally takes an entire summer of me being outside to build up a very very very very light tan. And by that point I've already burned away half my skin because I burn so easily. Oh, and on top of that, something about my irish nature causes me to get freckles from nowhere really easily. I burned my shoulders once in the beginning of the summer and now have 8 new freckles on my right shoulder, 5 on the left. 

I avoid all the trauma and wear spf40 like a good little irish girl.
