what phone should i get

LG Vu for $100

I know this is the wrong board but I need people's opinions quick and this board gets more activity than the tech board.  baddood;

Okay so I'm getting a new phone soon, probably today.

I initially wanted the LG Vu, but my dad says no because its $100.
He says I should settle for the Samsung Magnet for $50.

If I decide on the Vu, that means I'll have to be paying $50 of my own money, of which I have very little.

The Satio looks interesting, but then I remember that no US carries like to subsidise Sony Ericsson phones except for the bland Walkman phones.


Oh well, though I wonder why HTC keeps putting huge chins on their Android phones, other than that, the Hero looks good.  Though, I'd like an iPhone. :[ lol nobody would probably call me though

So uh I have a similar question... I'm trying to get a 3G phone with web browsing since I live in the middle of nowhere and have to share the internet with my entire family. What would be the best route to go as far as phones under T-Mobile?

What about the HTC Magic?  T-Mobile USA calls it the 'MyTouch 3G' but I refuse to call it that lol.  It comes out sometime this month if I recall.
