and then nobody would take me
and then i was doubting if i could afford it
finally i said "fuck it i'll starve myself and hitchhike if i need to" and went to buy my ticket
sold out.

next day one of my friends i'd been bugging about it for months says "hey dude we should go to that m83 show"

From what I understand it's just going to be him.

He's been dipping back into making public appearances. he did a show for Occupy Wall Street, and he was supposed to play some festival in NJ. I'm not sure if he ever did. I think all this is to promote that crazy NMH box set.

Anyway, he's playing a show in Chapel Hill, a show in Atlanta, and two shows at the 40watt in Athens. The Athens show is the one I'm trying to score tickets for, since the Elephant Six started there.

There is a possibility, though growing slimmer every day, that I may see Cage the Elephant on the 30th this month. Then a more likely concert is Rise Against with A Day To Remember in January.

not many concerts this semester. booked a few though. I'm seeing a lot of local punk, and going on tour with one of the bands this January. I wish I went to more classical concerts.
