actually when I see someone with long hair I stereotype a lot of different things. If it's kept neat and nicely trimmed, but still longer than the typical "emo" style of hair, or lacks bangs, then I tend to think "wow, that kid's a douche who's halfway between wanting to be a rebel and wanting to be cool and well-liked."

If I see a kid with extremely long very messy hair I tend to think "that kid probably doesn't shower as much as he could. He should really get a haircut because there's no way in hell that having hair that long and keeping it THAT knotted is comfortable."

If I see a kid with long slightly messy hair I think "that kid's probably pretty cool."

The only boy with long neat hair I've ever seen is bluaki, so I won't bother making a sterotype profile for that.

Of course, if it's a MAN with long hair, you're heading into   territory.

I don't really link long hair with drugs at all, but I would say I link it with being a bum. Long hair doesn't go over well with employers much of the time.
